5k picture mail limit for sprint mms

Is there a cab for increasing the size limit for sprint mms to 5k from 1k? I know there is one for arcsoft, but I don't want to switch because sprint stock is working just fine for me.

No, is it considered another problem? I have stock sprint mms, so I don't want to overwrite it with another program, I was just wondering if there is an extention cab like there is for arcsoft which I've used when I was using the custom roms.

have you tried doing the registry edit to change the send/receive limit of the mms?

I might be talkin out my butt on this but back when I had my touch pro on cricket for some reason cricket reduced the img size to something ridiculously small. I had done the reg edits and it didnt help at the time. Then I found a thread where it said to go into your registry and change the User Agent to a dif phone (MotQA30) and it worked! I started recieving decent sized images. I dunno what all phones Sprint supports but maybe if you pick one of their smartphones rather than a ppc you can get bigger images? Here is the link where I got the info. Like I said I'm not on Sprint so I can't try it to see if it will work. Who knows it might be worth a try?

Hklm/software/arcsoft/arcsoftmmsUA/Config/mm1/mmscsetting/samplmmsc
change 4 settings: wap 1 and 2 send, and wap 1 and 2 Recieve to 9999999

and if there is another folder where u found those 2, then change the same thing there.
this will give u 9.5MB. i just sent a 7mb song to my email without a problem
