Phone coming out of hibernation

Hi all, this is my first post, so try not to flame me too hard. I've searched around and haven't found the same issue I'm encountering.

I've recently moved into a house that I'm assuming doesn't get very good reception. While my tp2 is in hibernation, the screen will randomly light up and it seems like it's searching for a signal. The strange thing is, I don't seem to be having any trouble texting or calling in the house.. Also, it could be coincidence but this just started showing up after updating to 6.5.. This happens with or without wifi on.
