Gettin' bored with my TP2. Should I trade for Samsung Moment plus cash??

With the way the Android development is going for the TP2 its 50/50 IMO. On one hand you have a good phone but are hesitant to updgrade the rom which could make it an even greater phone. However, the Andorid OS is sweet, and its fully functional, but its not on the TP2 (kinda) So my question to you is this: If the Android OS was on the TP2 and fully functional, would you keep the TP2? If your answer is 'yes' than I'd say to upgrade the rom play around with the phone some (Try SPB Mobile Shell) and try to hold out in hopes of them making it fully functional. If you answer 'no' then your relationship with that phone has run its course and you should take the deal. Flashing roms can be addictive once you get past the first flash!!

If you are Geeky and liek tricking out your phone then I say stick with WinMo. If you need Flashy Apps go to Android simple as that.

i agree.. once i flashed a custom rom... i am NEVER going back to stock!!!

@LazyDazed are u serious?? Are u really from Long Beach too? or are u messin around with me??... LoL I think it seemed like a good deal... Like... I LOVED my TP2 when I first got it... did a couple little mods to it mostly cosmetic stuff.... Like I said when I got the TP2 I was SWOONED by the screen.... the keypad, tilt screen all of it.... now I dunno if Its JUST ME lol but Its kinda like when u meet a person... & youd do ANYTHING to get some from them.... and then you do it.... then you do it a couple more times.... and then you wake up one day.... & you realize u want something else?... LoL kinda like that.... I been watching videos about the moment it looks like a solid phone & I like the way the OS works....lmao at my dude who said its like smoking crack

I own both devices, and personally prefer my TP2. Then again, I am running 6.5 custom roms exclusively. Even so, I think the TP2 is a better device stock than the Moment is stock. The hardware is definitely better. Both the screen and keyboard of the Moment are substandard compared to the TP2.

I gave up my TP2 for an iPhone 3GS and haven't looked back. I had 3 TP2's and sold them all on ebay. When I had the TP2, all I would do was install new ROMs and reinstall apps, it was like an endless cycle. Now on the iPhone, I have no crashes, works fine, many good apps and no issues, I should've done this sooner. Oh and Pandora works great without all the hacks I had to install just to get it working on the TP2.

man that is some funny shit I completely agree with ya! Get bored, move on to the next thing, get bored, move on. Ah life is good.

As for the phone, my buddy just got a Sprint Hero, he effin loves it.... and I love it too.

I'd stick with the tp2 if you like flashing and the tweaking of winmo, or
I'd go with Android if you like the flashy and you want all the kool apps, there are some pretty badass, entertaining, kool, and fun widgets out there for it. I am reallllllyyy considering makin a move to Android this year we'll see...
