Data Connection keeps on turning itself off - Page 2

Right now after using data all day, I went into communications and my data connection is off. It's not supposed to stay on all the time and keep a connection active. I am using Mighty Rom 2/10/10. Just sayin!

Where does it say in the TP2 manual that this is correct? If the data connection is set to on, it should stay on.

I am on T-Mobile connection, and I have the same troubles. Data Connection drops off after a while. does not start up automatically. Have found now reason, other than the unit goes to sleep.

I have experienced this same problem once or twice, However my brothers Hero seems to do this about 34 times an hour (Seriously, that phone is almost Iphone stupid)

Hopefully once I get him hooked up with a flashed rom it will be all good.

(I also noticed once I flashed my Rom it has not happened again)

I ran into this problem when I hard reset and found out that in the comm settings, Auto (first option) was selected and not Verizon Wireless (#777). Once I selected VZW, I haven't (knock on wood) had any problems.
