Re: Official Favorite cabs Thread

Is there a cab to make the text message window automatically lock the keyboard into the text box so I don't have to touch it every time I open a new text message? It makes texting a lot less desirable with the TP2.

I would like to know this too. If anyone is confused by what he is saying, when you go to reply to a text or are sending one, you have to click in the empty text box before you can type. It's a stupid extra step to have to take. If there's a way around it I'd like to know as well!

I believe you need to turn SIP on. If you have Advanced Configuration, there is a option in Input to turn SIP on. This will automatically deploy the keyboard. If you dont have auto config, then im sure there is a cab to turn it on or you can look for the registry edit to turn it on. Sorry i cant give you links and such.

Thanks, but it has nothing to do with the keyboard auto-deploying. Even if using a hardware keyboard you have to tap the message box before you can type anything. It's a very stupid, silly, and annoying extra step.
