I don't think the tp2 allows you to have different sms alerts for different contacts unless someone has found a work around.

I tried JZ SmartMort to address some of the issues raised above (questions 1 and 2) and had some success with it.

The app allows you to setup a default browser. It's based on a script that grabs a URL contained in emails, twitter feeds, etc. If this app is installed, it grabs the URL and briefly allows you to choose which browser you want to use. If you don't choose a browser, it uses the default.

I really like this since Opera Mini5 is generally preferred, but sometimes doesn't render pages well. Skyfire is great for sites with flash. Opera (full 9.x or 10) is generally the most reliable but not always real fast.
