or you could get a regular usb lighter plug and use your sync cable for like 7 bucks.

like CnDm111 stated, you can use the sync/charger cable that you already have. that's what i use. i have two chargers using only 1 charger cable...which is the one that came with the unit when i bought the phone. i just unplug the cable from the wall adapter and plug it into my car adapter. unless you want a separate one for your car charger, that would cost you extra.
