Anyone have trouble with RSS readers using 6.5.3/6.5.5 ROMs?

I've found that with every 6.5.3/6.5.5 ROM I have tried I get random sudden unresponsiveness using RSS Hub or SBSH GoNews Touch...it's usually when backing out of an article...I can hold down the power button and reboot but I haven't figured out a way to close the program otherwise (occasionally I can get to task manager but if I try to close the program it justs hangs)...

I would much prefer to use 6.5.3/6.5.5 except I use the RSS reader a lot which has forced me to go back to a 6.5 ROM (any of them work fine)...just curious if anyone else has found this problem...

Oh yes, I have this problem 30 times a day. I use task manager to kill the exe instead of rebooting.
It definately started occuring once i started using the 6.5.3 and 6.5.5 ROM's. Running NRG's Leo 2011 ROM now.
It has occured on many ROM's though. I'm guessing it is a buggy application rather then the ROM itself

why would you think that? if it works flawlessly on 6.1 and 6.5.0?

because the 6.5.3 and 6.5.5 ROM's are known to be incompatible with many applications. the application would need updated to work with 6.5.x without issues.

Thanks for the responses...so you are able to kill it from the task manager program itself or are you getting to the task manager through the list in the upper right corner?

I have the same problem. It just stops responding and I have to kill it through task manager from the top left corner menu. I found that it is usually happening when I am in the subway where the phone has no cellular signal and it is trying to reconnect each time. I am also using energy maxmanilla rom.

I use the latest 2012 NRG Rom with maxManilla so I terminate it from the top right corner. Other ROM's have it on the right side.
