Re: Sprint TP 2 Replacement
Typically, unless you're within a certain window like 30 days or whatever, if you get a replacement, it will be a refurb unit. I'm waiting on my new unit due to the "N" button not wanting to work consistently. Since I brought it back to them a couple of days after buying it, they are replacing it outright with a new unit.
I didn't get insurance or replacement on mine since I figure, I've had Axims for years and never had an issue other than battery replacements so I think I'm not too rough on them. |

Re: Sprint TP 2 Replacement
I had problems with my TP and they sent me a replacement TP2. It is a refurb and I have had it for about a week now. So far (knock on wood) I have had no problems with it and it feels brand new to me. Refurbs are hit or miss though. There have been stories where people have gotten bad refurb after bad refurb so hopefully yours brings you no problems.

Re: Sprint TP 2 Replacement
I actually was having problems with my TP1 a month ago and called the direct replacement number of Sprint (i wish i still had that number) and got them to replace the TP1 with the TP2 and even though it just came with the battery, stylus and phone (no international sim or any of the accessories or chargers) I'm not complaining since it was an even exchange and I didn't have to spend any money or extend my contract. Not that I would go anywhere else with customer service like that... Not sure if the replacement was a refurb but it looked and felt new...

Re: Sprint TP 2 Replacement
Sounds like refurbs to me
I have had lots of problems with Sprint refurbs. A woman at the store was given a TP2 as a replacement for another phone and hers was new so I am hoping mine will be new too. Thanks for the responses and I will let you guys know what I get. |

Re: Sprint TP 2 Replacement
If it is outside of 30 days it will be a refurb. They just completed and Advanced Exchange since the phone is covered for 1 yr under the mfr warranty.
That is what is supposed to happen... though...lol |

It will be a refurb if they have some in stock. otherwise you will get nib. I had 3 replacements on my TP1 and 2 were nib and 1 was a refurb.
