MMS fix for Mighty Rom: WAR

yo MACKIE,

i used that cab and ur right works pretty decent alot easier to send and receive MMS than other workarounds. only problem is i got that phantom SMS notification now. i've used some fixes that i've found but those are only temporary as soon as next msg. comes in i get phantom again. is this unique to my phone or is a package deal with the .cab u posted....

Does ne one know of a real solution on how to get rid of that "phantom sms" notification. i have dl a few fixes but they are only temporary.....looking for a permenant fix.....thanks.

mackie,

any suggestions???? that damn sms phantom will not go away done many hard resets....even reflashed phone.....still when i install that .cab phantom appears as soon as first text shows up. i'm on sprint so and i too have latest WAR...

are you running the sprint provisioning first?

aka carrier provision in start>system ?

Run this if the other way isnt working out for you. Install BOTH cabs, then soft reset device.

well im throwing in the towel. i will just have to coexist w/ the phantom menace! tried everything and nothing works...finally just added the fix unread count to my home screen quick links and will jsut have to soft reset from time to time. thanks mackie for ur help if u find anything new ill keep my eye on this post thanks......
