MMS fix for Mighty Rom: WAR
 

has anyone come across a working fix for MMS on MR: WAR. i have done some hardcore research and attempted many fixes nothing seems to work. help would be greatly appreciated. thanx in advance.

Moon, thanks for the help. it worked like a charm. sucks that we have to use this workaround but ill keep looking for a permenant fix. thanks for the quick response.

What's is the problem with mms and mr war. I'm on sprint and have not had any problems with mms

I always use this cab. One cab install and soft reset. I'm on the newest war.

the problem is when using the HTC messaging sys. no one has been able to figure out why we are unable to send MMS msgs from there. so people have created workaround fixes. does the cab u posted allow u to send pic mail out of the HTC messaging???

Only Verizon users can SEND MMS from the HTC app.

No, when you send it uses the old messaging system. Receiving is the new messaging though. This is the cleanest workaround I have found.

Do your searches, the reason why it doesn't work is an IP Address is needed.

I am just waiting for the Android project to get data working and bye bye Windows Mobile.

yo MACKIE,

i used that cab and ur right works pretty decent alot easier to send and receive MMS than other workarounds. only problem is i got that phantom SMS notification now. i've used some fixes that i've found but those are only temporary as soon as next msg. comes in i get phantom again. is this unique to my phone or is a package deal with the .cab u posted....
