How do you select block of text in WM email client?

How do you select block of text in MW email client?
In Windows (for Desktop), you would either drag with left mouse button or press shift + arrow key.
Neither seems to work in WM.
The inability to select a large block of text for deleting or copy & paste makes it really difficult to use WM email client.

Press down and hold within the message body and when the cotext dialogue box pops up select "Make selection", then highlight the text you want.

... depends where you are, what ROM..

if it's something i'm typing simply press stylus for 1/4 second & highlight the desired text. (that tad extra hold enables you to highlight), then hold stylus on the highlighted text until pop up box & "copy".

if you're trying to copy something someone else sent you... first put it in edit mode (reply, forward..) then you'll have to click on the button that says "edit original message"
