Re: Sprint Navigation - No Landscape unless keyboard open?

the opera 10 b2 goes landscape mode without having to pull out your keyboard. that's what im using now. the zoom bar on the phone does not work with it tho...but wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Go into the registry and go to
HKLM/System/GDI/Rotation/HideOreintationUI

Then set the DWORD to "0"

Then go to Start/Settings/Personal/Buttons
and set the Send Key(hold) to <Rotate Screen>

Now when your in ANY app you want to use in landscape just press and hold the send key to rotate the screen.
this is the solution I was looking for...

Re: Sprint Navigation - No Landscape unless keyboard open?

You need to use a registry editor such as PHM Registry Editor. Search for it and download it here in the forums. ALSO the TP2 comes with Sprint Navigation 2.1.40 and the new Sprint 6.5 rom comes with Sprint Navigation 2.1.42. The TP2 Sprint Navigation has been high resolution since its inception.....not sure why Basilray feels the Telenav branded app is any better. The TP2 features resuming trip like the Palm Pre does and all the other features mentioned by Basilray. I would stick with the Sprint Navigation included with the Sprint ROM as there are no advantages to the Telenav Branded cab.
