Re: FYI-Touch Flo + Too Many Messages = ISSUE

Big wall of text crits readers for massive damage.

Readers leave.

Normally people gotta be told to use sentences, I'm glad to see this isn't one long run on sentence, but paragraphs, please!

WM 6.5 handles large text message threads considerably worse than 6.1, but in neither case should this cause any problems. On my TP on the stock sprint ROM I had maybe 12,000 texts in there (about 6k inbox, 6k sent) and maybe 100-120 e-mails, most with attachments from gmail... I never had problems or slowdowns. Who knows what it really was.

Well I mean, once I removed the account, even without rebooting it, it worked just fine. And I think this acutally happened on my XV6800 as well. It might just be the email and not the texts. Someone want to try?

Got the same issue with large number of emails in one of my yahoo account. Had to remove the account to get back to normal. My other yahoo account is still showing only the last 7 days messages.

Actually *I* think you nailed it Thanks, and thanked. I just experienced this today and set up archive folders to prevent it from happening again ( as badly ). Once I got everything cleaned up, the phone downloaded 3 days of mails, as it was set up to do. So far, so good.
