Re: Anyone plans to jump platform boat for HTC SuperSonic on Sprint?

Throw in working voice command over BT, and I'm in.

Re: Anyone plans to jump platform boat for HTC SuperSonic on Sprint?

I think i did bad job porting out(new term!) my thoughts to a keyboard properly in the initial post. I meant i would jump platform boats for Supersonic and then rely on XDA or PPCGeekers to have it dual boot with Android x.x and WM7. I could never leave WM for good(i am weak)

Re: Anyone plans to jump platform boat for HTC SuperSonic on Sprint?

i would have to see it but i may get it.. my plan is simply everything so no worries there...

the phone looks good and im sure things can be done to mod this phone like crazy.. anything is possible so im not worried... the important thing is to have the hardware and this phone looks like it could have it..

the keyboard thing doesnt worry me since the screen is large enough for a nice screen keyboard.. shouldnt be a problem...

lets see what happens... i can upgrade every year and i wouldnt mind taking the dip for 2 more years for a phone like this.

as far as leaving WM.... well im WM to the core but i can always play with 2 phones, i like toys. no harm there either... and like i said, im sure hacks for this thing will happen, no worries

Re: Anyone plans to jump platform boat for HTC SuperSonic on Sprint?

I just switched from my Hero to the TP2. I will admit, ANDROID IS THE SHIZZNIZZIE! BUT, I use my phones partially for work and the Microsoft exchange system on the Hero was just not up to par imo. If the SuperSonic has a better exchange experience, then I'm definitely going back, though as most of you have said...I WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PHONE WITH A KEYBOARD, despite the size! I got big fingers and even though the calibration tool on the hero helped alot, typing with the on-screen keyboard was still a pain!!!!

Re: Anyone plans to jump platform boat for HTC SuperSonic on Sprint?

The Supersonic will be Android on Steroids! Count me in... i'm making arrangements to sell a kidney so I can afford to buy this beast when it comes out! I have a Samsung Moment (got rid of the Hero due to lag and lack of physical keyboard) and it's a super nice device I must say. It's AMOLED screen is amazingly crisp and clear so this new SUPERSONIC is gonna blow other phones away in the display department fo sure. As for the lack of of physical keyboard goes, think about this... The screen sizis is going to be HUGE and definetely big enought for a nice size on-screen qwerty. Plus with the blazing fast processor there will not be lag when typing so I don't see a problem with there being no physical keyboard on the Supersonic.
To wrap this up the new Supersonic will absolutely wipe it's sexy @$$ with the iPhone and not look back.

Probably wont see a Android/WM dual boot on a Android based phone. The open source nature of Android is what allows us to run it on any device, Microsoft does not give the same permissions, though, who's to say WM7 won't be different...
