Sense 2.5 Build 2011 thoughts

I had to try reaaaaallly hard not to flash back to a 2.1 ROM sometimes on the old 2.5 stuff, I love 2.5 but I'd get so frustrated with crashes and SLOWWWW downs. I must say, with the new 2011, I've only had ONE manila crash, right after I flashed it. Since then smooooooth sailing. I've always used HTC messages too, no matter how buggy cuz I love the interface, new one...WOW is all I have to say, night and day. The myths are true! 2011 is FAST! Anyone who says otherwise hasn't disabled weather animations on the homescreen like a real man...

It's pretty fast for me too (running SSS rom). I have the fullscreen weather animations running with shortcuts on the home tab, and the background is different from the default one. That said, it's still pretty fast. There's a really, REALLY short lag phase when I flip the clock while the clouds are floating in the screen (really short; I'm talking 1/3 of a second slow), but that's it. Otherwise it runs fine for me.

I think you'll enjoy it OP. I say backup your current rom and give it a shot.

looks like the weather animations in Sense 2.5 2011 are from Sense 2.1. No slow down for sunny weather which I'm glad.
