Sense 2.5 Build 2011 thoughts

So uh........any thoughts on this build guys? A bunch of websites are saying that this build is the fastest yet, even faster than Sense 2.1. Is this true? How are the rom's you guys are trying.

The only thing that's been keeping me from 2.5 is that 2.1's speed is much faster. I don;t just want to flash any new 2011 rom just to "test" as I have never used a 2.5 rom before and wouldn't know how much faster if any this new build is.

Good lookin out.

Re: Sense 2.5 Build 2011 thoughts

Dibbson's 2.5 Roms built with the older version of Sense have been just as quick as the 2011 version's I have tried. I personally did not notice a difference in speed. Dibbs is now working on a Rom that will have 2011 so we will see if he can get it even quicker then his prior Roms.

Another solid Rom to check out with the new Sense 2011 is Deck's SSS Rom.......It is just solid all around and has been running extremely well for the past day.

The thing that slows Sense down is the weather animations, especially when you change the background from default and start adding shortcuts....You can disable the weather but it would be great if it would run the speed it is suppose to.....

It is fast, maybe not as fast as 2.1, but fast nonetheless...

It's fast enough that I don't know if I'll go back to 2.1. I'd played with 2.5 before but kept coming back. This one may keep me -- we'll see!

I agree. I loaded Dibbson's new test Rom today and man it is fast.

I love it and it's sealed the deal with 2.1, I won't ever go back.
