Re: Any Touch pro2 application experts out there?
exe's for a pc are different than exe's for mobile. You would need the source code to be able to build the program, and that is a hard task. It is impossible to decompile the exe into the source code. Therefore, you need to obtain the source code from the cargo company, and they are unlikely to hand that out.

Thanks Dgourd I wasn't aware of that.
I guess I'll call the company and see who wrote the program maybe he can lead me in the right direction and/or be willing to share that info. To make things quicker safer & easier for us flying on the back side of the clock they might work with us. I appreciate the info I didn't think it was so complicated for something that looks like a excell spread sheet based program. |

Re: Any Touch pro2 application experts out there?
The main problem is that they are formatted differently. You can copy the 'behind the scenes' operations (calculations) that the program does from the source code, but you need to completely redesign the interface.

Re: Any Touch pro2 application experts out there?
Send me a PM with your contact info, I'll get with you tomorrow and we'll see what we can do. If it's a simple W/B it should be no big deal, as long as you're not talking something that needs to be TSO'ed

Re: Any Touch pro2 application experts out there?
Hi Bob,
Thank you so much for all the information I will look into making some of those applications work for me. The program that I was trying to get to work is specific to a group of DC-8 freighters that we fly. (tail numbers, wgts, dif. wgt. stations, and 3 different series of the DC-8,etc.) I could make another program work but this one I'd like to spend the time on now because it has no frills. We use it to do a real quick and simple check on what the flight engineer hands to us. I do appreciate the links though and I know I'll use some of them! Take care, Steve PS- came back to edit this and say that eflight softwear is pretty fancy stuff! (but then for $800 for one model of the Dc-8 it better be! ![]() Last edited by Diesel 8 Driver; 02-04-2010 at 02:02 PM. |
