Maybe there is a command switch in iLock.exe (component of s2u2) that will shut off the screen and launch s2u2? I haven't looked in the FAQ or Help to figure out all the command switches, but if it isn't in there, i'm sure A_C wouldn't mind implementing it if you requested it on his thread on XDA.
there is in settings for current versions
even replaces the wm 6.5 default lock - which I like

I'm running 2.24 I believe and it works fine. 2.30 kept locking up my phone.

Re: TP2+S2U2 = fail?

Has anyone had a problem with S2U2 where the top half of the slide screen remains on top of your home screen?

I am using a program called SmartLock I found on XDA. I installed it on my TP2 (wm 6.5) because S2U2 was draining my battery. I have only used it for a day; however, it seems to work just fine. I did have to softreset after installing. I will post an update after I have used it for a week.

Re: TP2+S2U2 = fail?

The new versions of s2u2 don't have any drain on the battery.

I think you just press and release the power button? Thats how it works on mine, and on my old mogul. (I think it even ran, but poorly on the 700wx due to the small screen.)

That was not the case for me. I had a power drain with 2.14 & 2.24. I have not tried 2.22 or 2.3 yet. If it works for me, I will go back to S2U2. I have used it for years with my 6700, 6800, & TP. Just had to many issues with my TP2.
