What the-- Task reminders saying due 01/01/4501 ?!?!

Made a few tasks w/reminders, and on the notification pop-ups, the one with no due date said:

"Started: 01/01/4501
Due: 01/01/4501"

and the one due today said:

"Starts: 01/01/4501
Due: 01/25/2010"

The tasks and all are working fine, but I'd sure like to have it stop showing these funky dates and show the right ones! Appreciate any help

Hmm... I wonder if its related to the 2016 SMS bug... have you installed the update released by HTC to fix that one? If not, give it a try and see if it fixes. I'm no longer on Sprint stock, so can't test it myself but will give it a go on my 6.5 ROM and see if it does the same.

And I'm sure there are others running stock ROM that can test it as well.

Yup, I did install the fix straight from Sprint's site, about a week ago...

So did you create the task on the phone or did you create it in Oulook and sync it over? Reason I ask is I don't see anywhere to add a reminder or due date to a Task... but maybe that's just a WM6.5 thing...

Yes, created the task on the phone. Reminder/due date is when you go into Tasks and hit Edit on the task and there's fields like Start/Due/Occurs/Priority etc.

This is kinda freaking me out, I really hope there's nothing fudged in the registry or something..

I searched the registry and couldn't find "4501," I tried a couple task reminders today and noticed that setting Start/Due displays the reminder properly. I am 99% sure that this 01/01/4501 is basically a "None," because that's what the Start/Due should be saying if I have not selected anything for them (only a timed reminder, not date, so date would be empty).

I can't be the first one to ever experience this, though?!
