MOTOROLA S9-HD phones... just got them in the mail.

I am about to pull the trigger on one of the cheep 25.00 ebay auctions for these, anyone have these? Any thoughts? I am sick of having to plug into my TP2 when biking and worry about the cord. I mean dont get me wrong I LOVE the 3.5mm jack I just dont like getting a call en-route and stopping pulling out my phone, disconnecting the cord answering..

how well do the moto's work with the TP2 say on a belt clip?

I have the regular S9 (non HD); the sound quality and bluetooth range is very good. I use them at the gym. Make sure you don't buy from any sellers based in Hong Kong or China, most of the time they're selling you knock-offs.

I bought one as an extra off eBay and it worked fine. I like this for biking and the gym. The one I have is 2 years old and doing well.... hence I bought the extra.

i do too but the a2dp sound like CRAP! alot of metallic sounding distortion... phone calls are ok. yesterday on my tp1 sounded fine today on the tp2.

did you change the BT stack or something?

i have them. their sweet i use them in the gym and the audio and phone quality are great. plus u can change the songs from the headset. but i payed 99 for mine a year ago idk about the $25 pair.

Make sure it's connecting with the stereo bluetooth profile to your phone; a headset icon shows in the task bar when this happens. The sound quality on mine is impressive.

ah so those ARE knock offs, anyone have those? can you tell a difference? I dont think I could lay down a C note for some headphones unless they were Sony MD7506's.

I have the legit ones from BestBuy. They are ok for a light workout, however, if you sweat alot from doing too much cardio, they start to mess up over time. So basically, they are not sweat proof. I've already exhanged mines in less than a year. Also, not sure if its the TP2's fault or the headphones, but the bluetooth drops out alot when you move the phone around especially when your bike riding or when walking and the phone is in your pocket.

I actually just ordered a pair from MobileCity.com (http://www.mobilecityonline.com/wire...roductid=23273) right before I saw this thread. I had an eye out on the original S9 headphones for my Mogul, but never bought them.

If I have some time, I'll post a review after I've had them for a week or so.
