Re: MOTOROLA S9-HD phones... anyone got em?

I have them and use them for the gym. The fit isnt the greatest cause theyre not adjustable at all. My heard a little too big for it. Had to heat them up over an oven to bend to a better fit. Audio used to cut out n me but it stopped. I got them for $50 at Best Buy on black friday. There are other brands that are adjustable. I think the plantronics or jabra ones are. I think you should find a store that has them out for display before you buy as they might not fit right and will be uncomfortable after having them on for a while.

Re: MOTOROLA S9-HD phones... anyone got em?

if you have a TP2 (bluetooth 2.1) buy these immediately!!!! they are fantastic!

(do not purchase for the original touch pro or diamond, these do not work well w/ bluetooth 2.0 )

Re: MOTOROLA S9-HD phones... anyone got em?

I had a pair.. I am pretty sure they were knockoffs but they were still pretty damn good. Best pair of headphones I could find if you are active. Good quality sound and I played basketball with them and they didnt fall off.

I would recommend... definitely.

That's odd, cause I had TP and used S9 and then S9-HD for couple months. Now I use it on TP2 and love it.

i have em, they work well.Got mine at good will for 2 bucks. The old lady behind the counter said another old lady donated them as "earphones with the cord missing". I told her i had an old cord at home and i could try to fix them, she said gimme 2 bucks for them......she actually thought she was making out....heheheh...i love technology.

Re: MOTOROLA S9-HD phones... anyone got em?

I own the S9-HD's and use them at the Gym almost every day along (1 hour Jog/Run) with the TP2. I would definitely recommend them as the sound quality, a2dp and battery life are awesome when you consider how lightweight and small they are. As far as the initial narrow fit, to me it makes sense considering their flexible one piece design to also accommodate those with smaller heads. If you are like me and you don't have a small head then the fit will be more comfortable with wear (which might bother some) or you can easily stretch them out gently a few times as I did with no problems.

A friend of mine just picked up a pair at J&R - JR .com for 66 Bucks.

Re: MOTOROLA S9-HD phones... anyone got em?

I've used mine for quite a while now, and would use them always if it were legal to wear headphones while driving. they are awesome. Perfect for summer mornings fishing looking forward to spring/summer.....

Re: MOTOROLA S9-HD phones... anyone got em?

thanks everyone, I spread some thanks around. I think I am gonna try to nab a pair of the Hong Kongs off of ebay. I dont think the wife would want me droppin 70bills on some headphones, and I am saving for a new mac. I would be using mine primarily for bike riding. Anyhow thanks for the reviews, if anyone has anything additional bring it on, I am glad they work well with the TP2.

how well do the moto's work with the TP2 say on a belt clip?
I purchased my legit pair at J&R and from my experience I'd say they work really well. From my end - music and calls (in stereo by the way) sound awesome and those who I call have said the call quality is good/clear but nothing spectacular. From a bike I would imagine that answering and making calls with the S9-HD's would be ideal.

I haven't seen the ebay auction you mention but at that price I am going to guess they are knockoffs as I've heard about many bootleg versions available on ebay. When I picked them up about 6 months ago the S9-HD's cost me about $90.00 and a friend recently picked up a pair of legit ones at J&R for 66 bucks. The money you save won't be worth it without the sound and call quality + warranty of a legit pair in my opinion.
