Why no WM 7 leaked ROMs?

Just playing devils advocate. Everybody kept saying current phones can't support it. If it takes a 1ghz ARM Cortex A8 cpu with dedicated gpu to support this OS, then this makes me feel it might just be as slow as 6.5 when it come out.

Wouldn't WindowsMobile still need time for developers to develop apps to take advantage of whatever new technology that are going to be available. It wouldn't simply come bundled with a bunch of new killer apps, or would it?

Umm The ONLY reason that there are no leaked WinMo 7 Rom's is very plain, THERE IS NO PHONE WITH IT!! All the 6.5 builds are from phone's like the Leo and other phone's that already have 6.5. Another FYI I never knew the Iphone had an "os" it's just a bunch of icon's on the screen and a bunch of, for the most part useless app's. I have tried both and they are very Entertaining phone's, WinMo has the best Internet browsing ever. Alot come close, Have you ever tried to Download an AVI on the Iphone? Yep, that cant happen, How about tried to view an AVI on Android, Yep aint possible yet either, Wait till there's a WinMo 7 phone, Then you'll get your Rom.

this isn't entirely true, no phones have the 6.5.x builds (actually samsung just created one but it hasn't shipped yet) and we've had 6.5.x builds 6months to a year already.

I used skyfire on my friends HD2. That was the best browsing experience. Other than that, 3gs browsing is better than tp2 browsing. Also has to do with more sites support the damn iphone.

i hate how slow skyfire pans. those damn checkerboards EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!
but it still gets the job done on almost anything,..just painfully

gotta say the pre browser is very underrated. Im very surprised i never heard how good it was. Renders sites perfectly and although it has panning issues as well its no where near as bad as skyfire or any opera mobile. Its barely there. and with a simple patch im streaming The dark knight while downloading hangover. over wifi of course.
