Re: Photos of HD2 vs Sprint Touch Pro 2
LMAO my reaction exactly!
I think I would actually switch to T-Mo for this phone. I'm still in contract with Sprint but my baby sister is gonna need a phone soon & she loves my Diamond, sooo...

Re: Photos of HD2 vs Sprint Touch Pro 2
That's a nice phone. I guess with the screen being as big as it is, it wouldn't be such a pain for typing. Buuuuut......not sure. I'm pretty die-hard on my physical keyboard.
But Sprint isn't gonna get it soooooo, I guess no worries. Lol.

Re: Photos of HD2 vs Sprint Touch Pro 2
I'm sticking with my TP2... There's gonna be all kinds of fun stuff by the end of the year and early 2011... W7, 4g (from Sprint) I can't wait. And in the meantime... I still have a rocking phone that will EVENTUALLY (hopefully) be upgraded to a stock Sprint w6.5 ROM. Not too shaby I say.

Yes, any ROM with Manila 2.5...I'm using Mighty's IMPACT and it's exactly as the HD2 is setup.
Thanks for the pics!! It's nice to see a side by side size comparison. Can't wait until it (or the equivalent) hits Sprint... I do agree with some of you guys...no need for a hard keyboard on a screen that big (IMO), so I'll be all for the much, much thinner phone.

Re: Photos of HD2 vs Sprint Touch Pro 2
My friend came back from Hong Kong and I had to flash his phone from Chinese to WWE. My first impression was that the phone just flies with that Snapdragon processor. however, I could not get used to that on screen keyboard. I'd rather still have my resistive screen....although I did see that HTC released a capacative stylus. haha. no place to store it though.
Using the HD2 I realized that's how windows mobile is supposed to run. You could actually use skyfire as your default browser b/c it runs it fine. on the tp2 panning in skyfire is horrendous. on the HD2, you still get checkered boxes when scrolling but they go away quick enough. *sigh* everything installs so quick also. no lag with sense 2.5 either. If you guys are used to your hard keyboard, you might not like the HD2. I don't think I could switch to no keyboard, especially considering how bad the on screen kb is. Iphone's SIP is much more responsive IMO.

Re: Photos of HD2 vs Sprint Touch Pro 2
Nice Pics, i wish you would have had a Custom 6.5 ROM on your TP2. To be honest, It looks like I would be just getting rid of my keyboard on my TP2. Running Mighty's ROM I feel like I have everything the HD2 has plus a keyboard and minus the faster processor.
