Thank you for trying to help me solve this...miscommunication is like sh*t, it happens

I would love a fix/hack(?) for this aswell, iv just got into the habit to unlock my phone before I flip it open. Im the same way though with s2u2 used to love it on my old winmo phone but on my tp2 its just to buggy for me and the default 6.5 lock just works (except for this issue).

I'm going to try Keystone's contribution from page 1, but Smart Lock won't let me uninstall as it crashes my device when I try. Guess I need to finally set up XDA_UC and hard reset. There goes the rest of my Sunday.

Yes, the screen and -- if you choose -- the hardware keys may remain locked at the 6.5 lockscreen until unlocking conditions are met. They may be any combination or singular conditions such as a minimum light sensor level, g-sensor orientation combos, zoom bar slide/tapping, screen tapping, TAPI (phone) status, etc...

Yeah it looks great, I've been looking through the options. Hopefully this will replace Smart Lock and solve all my issues with locking. Thanks!!

Re: Help: Disable keyboard open from unlocking device?

Was trying to figure this out. I first added HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD\SlideWakeup =0, then I changed HKLM\HARDWARE\OEM\KEYBD\KeyLock = 0. Not sure if it was one or the other or both combined, but now my phone doesn't unlock when the keyboard is slid open, and I'm still using Windows Default as the Lock Display (which I prefer to the Classic look).
