Help: Disable keyboard open from unlocking device?

Hi, I've searched high and low to no avail...I know I can't be the only person with this problem.

The device unlocks itself when the keyboard is slid open, even if just half an inch. This causes few, but unexpected unlocks while in my pocket. I'm using Smart Lock 1.9b with WM 6.5 lock screen, but this may happen even without Smart Lock, I'm not sure.

I have tried the registry-based HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD\SlideWakeup solution from the Touch Pro, but my TP2 already had this and set to 0. Is there a solution for us Rhodium users yet?

Thanks!

Re: Help: Disable keyboard open from unlocking device

Forgot to mention that Smart Lock is broken after this happens until I manually relock the phone. I guess it gets confused about its current state.

Re: Help: Disable keyboard open from unlocking device

Thanks. I installed and soft reset, but the lock still breaks when I slide my kb. Maybe it's just the TP1 registry mod in CAB form?

Anyway, this CAB works for you on your Pro2?

Re: Help: Disable keyboard open from unlocking device

Try S2U2....nice Locker/Unlocker, and you can set it up not to unlock when keyboard is open...!

Re: Help: Disable keyboard open from unlocking device

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not a fan of S2U2. I'd like to continue using the native WM 6.5 lockscreen as this is the only issue I have with it, compared to the numerous problems I have with S2U2 (not to mention the screen corrupting when the keyboard slides and it enters landscape WVGA).

I would love a fix/hack(?) for this aswell, iv just got into the habit to unlock my phone before I flip it open. Im the same way though with s2u2 used to love it on my old winmo phone but on my tp2 its just to buggy for me and the default 6.5 lock just works (except for this issue).

I'm going to try Keystone's contribution from page 1, but Smart Lock won't let me uninstall as it crashes my device when I try. Guess I need to finally set up XDA_UC and hard reset. There goes the rest of my Sunday.

Re: Help: Disable keyboard open from unlocking device?

What problem are you having? You mean when you flip the screen the lock in unlocking itself?

Um, no? Where did you get flipping the screen from?

From the original post:

The device unlocks itself when the keyboard is slid open, even if just half an inch.

Keystone, will this work in conjunction with the WM 6.5 lock? Thanks!
