Re: Verizon keyboard layout cab??
Thanks so much! I've been looking for this cab for nearly an hour! I guess I wasn't looking hard enough lol

Re: Verizon keyboard layout cab??
Okay, I just found another oddity with my keyboard. After applying the cab, I find that everything works perfectly except he colon and semicolon keys. Pressing the key by itself works fine, but when I press function and then H or J to make the colon or semicolon, it gives me slash and blackslash instead. The keys that are mapped to slash and backslash give me the same thing. Should I just hard reset?

Re: Verizon keyboard layout cab??
I'm running a rom built from Calkulin's kitchen. I think the problem came in when I skipped the provisioning after flashing the rom. I skipped it because there's a bug in the Verizon provisioning that prevents the phone from discovering Verizon's network, so I tried to get around it by cooking a generic rom.

Re: Verizon keyboard layout cab (Colon/Semi-colon fixed!)
I can confirm that the above cab works for a colleague's VZW touch pro 2 running Freeza's BareNaked WM6.1 ROM! The only remaining weirdness is the semi-colon and colon keys making slashes instead.
To solve this in Freeza's ROM, here's what I did: 1) Install keyboard fix from this thread 2) Install Rhodium keyboard Controller (CDMA), search XDA if needed 3) Remap the FN+H and FN+J keys (semi-colon is keycode 186, colon is shift+186) I know that there are a ton of auto-provisioning cabs already released, but they don't seem to stick in Freeza's super-fast ROM -- but this works for me.
