funny, i have had this happen on two 6.5 roms i have cooked. except it does not happen after exiting sleep. it happens on boot after a soft reset, much like in the other thread stated a few posts back. however the second i touch anywhere on the screen the messaging goes away (closes), so it is not much of a bother. guess i'll try the phantom fix

The problem it would cause me was that after that window popped up, the today screen wouldn't update anymore until I closed the phantom messaging window. So if I woke up the phone to see the what time it was it would show the time the window popped up

that would def get annoying, haha. i'll have to snag that cab just in case. i've cooked two completely different 6.5 roms and its happened on both
