Any fix for this? If not I think I will have to go back to stock.
I haven't seen anyone post any issues about iGo8 in the ROM thread, so I'm assuming it's working for everyone else. I don't use iGo so I'm no help...

Post about it in the ROM thread. That way anyone else running iGo with that ROM will be able to answer you...

Just to make sure- you're using the 6.5 version right, and not the 6.5.3 version (start button is at the top of the 6.5 version, at the bottom of the 6.5.3 version)? I tried the 6.5.3 version and had so many problems it prompted me to start this thread. I flashed back to the 6.5 version (and I had been using it for over a month with no problems before I decided to try the 6.5.3 version).

I've been running his ROM for like 2 months now and still haven't had to reset. the only bug is the 2016 SMS bug. And the fix (the workaroung works too, but so does the fix) ziggy posted works just fine on it.

And I figure it's more stable than the stock ROM because it is. Running all the struff i run on the stock ROM lead to me soft resetting almost every day. I haven't ever had to do that on the Indagroove Titanium ROM.

Try it and you will see.

No tweaks needed. MMS and all of that works fine. If you want to use Sprint Navigation and Sprint TV then install the Mr X Sprint Provisioning Cab first, then install the navigation or whatever cab you want, and all of that stuff works too.

I was simply looking at the thread on the Indagroove ROM and it appears to be a nice ROM from the responses but it does look as if some people ave had issues, albeit possiblly they were software related or 3rd party apps not being quite as compatible. Onceagian , I am not arguing with you about this . It is subjective. All I know is that I have not had to reset one time or had ANY errors while using the stock rom. I too, prefer the custom ROMS and hate the bloatware but as I grow older, i tire of constantly updating to newer versions of the custom ROMS and reflashing and all that. That is why I preferred the stock rom with Mobile Shell. Either way, I am sure each rom has its advantages as they normally do. I was reading the thread on the Indagroove rom and noticed a post from you that reads "So I downloaded the newest ROM version today, and I am still getting the don;t have permission (or whatever) error when I try to install that comm suite with WiFO router.

Does anyone know how to get a working WiFi router installed with this ROM? "

Probably a software issue but this illustrates my point .

Keep reading in that thread. The post you quoted was from the very first version of the ROM. There have been several updated versions since that post. And even then, it was my fault- I was using the wrong cab. When I used the correct cab, it worked just fine. That is all in the thread too.

Like I said, I am not aware of any bugs in that ROM. I used the stock ROM for a while too before the hard spl was released. I can tell you, that ROM is way more stable than the stock ROM. I have not had to reset one single time on that ROM.

It's super buggy and I am about to flash back to a regular 6.5 ROM.

Before I flash back to a regular 6.5 ROM, I thought I would ask if anyone has a good suggestion.

I am on Sprint, so it would have to be a ROM that works well with Sprint.

Any suggestions?

Well there are small differences in each Mobile Shell version. Mostly bug fixes and things like that. The SPB website always has the latest version. I don't know where to get the older versions. I deleted my older ones as I installed the newer ones.

EDIT:
See here for Mobile Shell:

I will hold out for just a touch longer (hopefully by March) for the Sprint update. If not , then I will try the Indagroove Rom or the new lean Rom that was just put out. I just hate reflashing a new version every small update. If I cannot wait, I will try Indagroove's rom first. I used to run the MM rhodium and the thread got too hard to keep up with after a few thousand entries..

Well even though there were several updates to the indagroove ROM, I was still running the first version up until I the time I decided to try a 6.5.3 ROM. You don't have to update if you don't want to. It's not like he's putting out a new version every week or anything like that. And it's not like there are huge bugs that have to be fixed in updates either.

To each their own but I'm telling you, the reasons you are against cooked ROMs don't apply to this indagroove Titanium ROM. It was made form the US Cellular Touch Pro 2's official WM 6.5 ROM, and that device is identical to the Sprint Touch Pro 2.
