What does Field Trail dial?

Can be used to measure your signal - good for testing what radio works best for you.

Can I use one of these to load a Verizon PRL onto my USCC TP2? How do I do this? I just got QPST but don't know how to use it or connect it with my phone.

You can load the PRL file directly from your phone using the link for PRL that this cab puts in your tools folder. The MSL code for verizon is alway 000000, not sure about USCC. There is a cab around here somewhere called BAFMSL.cab that will get you the code.

You don't really need QPST to do this, but I will give you some quick pointers anyway.

What you need:

• QPST - search google (you won't find it here)
• Modem Drivers for our phone (you will need to search)
• Your MSL code (see above)

1. Install QPST and the drivers.
2. Plug your phone in.
3. Put it in Diag Mode using the Shortcut created from DMRouter in the tools folder.
4. Launch Service Provisioning.
5. Read from the phone.
6. Enter MSL.

Not sure what you want to do, but be careful....

WOW, thank's so much for taking the time to help me. I think I'll just use your cab. Will probably do it over the weekend.

So if I do screw something up will a reflash fix things?

In QPST you can backup your setting before you mess around with them using the Service Provisioning application.

If you just upload a PRL file, you can always upload another one.

If you mess up your settings in QPST or EPST and do not have a backup, no amount of flashing will help. You will simply need to set things back to the way you found it.

You should do some reading before diving in to QPST or EPST. Make sure there is something you actually want to do.

All I want to do is load the Verizon PRL to be able to get 3G while roaming since USCC hasn't implemented their signed data roaming agreement just yet. Want it for a trip next weekend.
