CAB to launch EPST / FieldTrial / DmRouter / PRL - Updated (2010-12-29)

If you ever need to get in to EPST / DMRouter / FieldTrial / PRL update, this CAB can help.

It simply creates a shortcut to launch these applications.
  • EPST should work for all carriers
  • FieldTrial.exe is included
  • DmRouter.exe is included (version 1.3 and up)
Creates a link: Start --> Tools --> EPST / FieldTrial / Dm Router / PRL

The icons I use are below and are modified elite soldier icons. You may need to restart for them to show up.
  • EPST - Change phone settings / NAM profiles / Data Settings - pretty much do damange with this one.
  • FieldTrial - Measure you signal (good for testing various radios)
  • Dm Router - Exposes your phone as device so you can program it with tools like QPST.
  • PRL - Allows you to update you PRL from a local file (same as dialling ##775)
Changes:
  • 1.3
    • Updated FieldTrial.exe version
    • Added latest DmRouter.exe to package

It simply creates a shortcut to EPST with the code at the end. I know this works for Verizon and may work for others as well. The key for Verizon it is ##778. If it is the same for your carrier, then you are good to go.

I would be happy to create a copy for any other carrier if you tell me what the number you dial to get in to EPST is.

What can you do with EPST and your MSL code (000000 for Verizon)? Damage!

what does dmrouter do? i can't seem to launch it in the tools

If you were going to program your phone using QPST, you would need this tool. It allows you to write to the phone with service programming tools from your PC.

I will check it out and see if I messed up the link or something.

So, DmRouter is like dialing ##3424# so you can use QPST?
