Save that file in your music location (or wherever), and now you can start streaming shoutcast just as easily as playing an mp3 file!
Whew, that's a lot of work!

With the free Kinoma FreePlay (and Kinoma Play, of course), you just browse or search for stations and then play them directly. The paid Kinoma Play supports stations using the advanced AAC and aacPlus formats as well. If there's a better SHOUTcast player for mobile, we don't know about it.

Re: How to stream Shoutcast streams?

I've been a Kinoma fan for quite a long time and just in the last coupl eof weeks I've been unable to use it. EVERY other app on my TP2 outputs audio just fine, both through the internal speaker and headphones, except Kinoma. It connect, buffers, counts out the play time just fine, but no signal. Very strange.

I have had the same issue with Kinoma Play. I may have accidently figured it out. I just installed a different ROM and discovered that when I installed a BG4ALL mod the audio for Kinoma left, however, when I uninstalled the mod it came back and worked normally. I'm using a 6.5.3 ROM with 2.5 2011 Manila.
