Let me be clear, NO ONE has EVER used my computer, or my internet connection, to EVER modify a cell phone before.

This is not a matter of documentation.
This is a FALSE claim by the develpoper web site followed by a solicitation for payment.

As ready as I am to dump windows mobile in the toilet, I would spend $6 to unlock my phone and install a ROM as a final attempt to keep my TP2.
But, in light of the fact these issues are not being addressed publicly, and I have not received a response to my e-mail, Android is looking better and better.

Have you unlocked any other device other then a TP2? like a TP?

That is what I am saying in your case you don't know why or what..and it would help if developers actually made a site/program that lets you see when you last unlocked and what you unlocked it would solve the problems.

This issue STILL has not been addressed in public threads by the developer and my e-mail STILL has been unanswered.

No. I have never even downloaded a CAB until last week. I have always used my WM phones exactly the way they were delivered from the carrier.

The thing that gets me is, you attempt to unlock your TP2. Or at least you start to run the software, it tells you some BS that a device has already been unlocked and that you must donate to get another usage out of it. You pay, then you try again, once again it fails, and now you have to pay yet again. The software is faulty. It incorrectly reads the device and forces you to donate. They really NEED to fix this. It needs to be fixed so that an unlock process is 100% verified complete. NOT half finished, which is usually the case. That way if it fails, you can simply try the process over again until the SPL is fully unlocked, and you won't have to pay a donation. Yes, donations are good. It helps the authors out, BUT, it shouldn't be forced upon constantly just because the software incorrectly reads the results of the unlock process. This is just plain ol BS. Sure, i'll donate, once, but ONLY IF I know 100% for sure that my phone will be 100% unlocked after the software runs.

Why don't they just come out and say, "it costs $x to unlock a phone". It's not a freakin' donation if they are charging you before you can use it LOL... All they are doing is making people crazy trying to figure out why it doesn't work. It seems a bit deceitful to me...

Now there is the catch22. I have unlocked my phone (same phone) twice, with no problem from the unlocker. Once I uninstalled the AVG it went smoothly. But alas, I have to relock my phone and send it back, USCC is sending me another TP2, the camera is really grainy on this one. The camera in the TP was 300% better. So now I get to see if the unlocker will work for my new (prbably refurbished) phone Monday or not. :(
