Re: Disable Bluetooth Disconnect Notification?
I have a similar problem....Every time I connect my car to Bluetooth, I am getting a pop-up on phone that my phone does not support adjusting volume of headset (not a problem, my car has a volume knob)
Is there any way to get rid of this? Thanks, Josh |

Re: Disable Bluetooth Disconnect Notification?
Do a search for "Bluetooth Warning Notification Option.cab"
I installed that a while back, and it adds an entry for Bluetooth notification in the main notification settings area, so you can then disable it there. Works fine on my Stock 6.1 ROM; don't know about the new 6.5

Re: Disable Bluetooth Disconnect Notification?
This works in all other regards, except the HTC Notification Manager still gets an event.

Re: Disable Bluetooth Disconnect Notification?
this gets rid of the bt volume cannot be adjusted notification:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...1&postcount=44 One more minor annoyance cleared up. edit: after more testing, this definitely works for me to get rid of the bt volume notification, but it also seems to disable the whole top taskbar once your BT connects once. Soft reset will get back the taskbar, but as soon as you connect it will be disabled again. Just a word of warning for those of you who actually use that top taskbar (I very rarely do so no big deal).

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=3059 It worked perfectly. I have my phone paired with the bluetooth in the car. Everytime I got in and out of the car I get the notification and it was extremely annoying. This cab got rid of it http://pocketnow.com/tweaks-hacks/ho...t-notification http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=3059 |

Note: I have HTC Sense turned-off in the Today settings, but I understand that there are still other pieces of HTC add-ons running, including an HTC Notification Manager of some sort, that may be to blame. If this is indeed the problem, how does one go about disabling it and just sticking with the vanilla MS Notification Manger? I don’t know why anyone thought this BT disconnect message was desirable behavior, MS, HTC or Verizon. |
