Search for "JVH3 Weather City Editor" on xda-developers.com (sorry, I can't post the link because of my low post count).

Go to post #363 (thread page 37) for the new table. Make sure you soft reset after replacing the database and installing the city editor cab.

This worked great for me. Thanks JVH3!
this worked great for the few days since I found it, but today I'm getting a connection error, but only on the cities that I added with the editor. The my location and one existing city both work.

Anybody else having trouble or find a solution?

So...

1. Is there a fix for the slider only being transparent on the home page?

2. Is there a way to have BG4all and weather animations?

3. Last but not least, what's the deal with getting rid of the Manila start menu?

Here is an attachment for working backround and weather animations. I also suggest using the dirty rain fix that will keep the screen from going dark right before the windshield wiper goes.

I can't find it, but I think that I read somewhere that JVH changes the default weather source. That could be the issue if you're now using a less reliable data source.

I wound up taking Drewcam's suggestion to use Conflipper's database. I was a little hesitant at first because of its size, but the only time you'll notice any lag is when you are looking up the cities to add them. Once you have the cities selected, it works perfectly fine.

It was user error on my part, I had uninstalled the other weather db editor and it took something with it. I re-installed JVH3 and it works just fine.
