The updated version of JVH3's weather city editor works, but you have to replace the stock database file with a custom version of the database that he created that includes a "countries" table. For some reason, the database on the VZW 6.5 rom doesn't include this table.

Search for "JVH3 Weather City Editor" on xda-developers.com (sorry, I can't post the link because of my low post count).

Go to post #363 (thread page 37) for the new table. Make sure you soft reset after replacing the database and installing the city editor cab.

Anyone know if its possible to get CityID on the TP2? I saw that the Imagio had it when I was messing around with it in the Verizon store. I already flashed MightyROM so I can't go to the verizon website for mobile phones (I just get a white screen). Does anyone know if they offer CityID as a download for TP2 on the verizon site? If they did I'd probably flash back to verizon and download the cab, then flash back to MightyROM.

I'm pretty sure I'm still a newbie..Is it confirmed that the Verizon Windows Mobile 6.5 will work on the HTC Touch Pro 2? I'm just a little nervous about downloading this because Verizon still hasn't said anything official yet. I hope you all can understand my hesitation as I use this device all day, every day.
Can someone confirm that it's safe to me? Thanks for the understanding, I appreciate you time.

Yes, it's safe. It's on the Verizon Wireless support page now. You WILL lose all your info when you flash tho.

I haven;t had much luck...it runs, but never finds the GPS so it's kinda useless.

Did you tell navizon to use com4 for gps? I have never had it not find the gps on the phone

I've always wanted 6.5 so i flashed it and it's really nice, def more finger friendly. There's a few minor glitches but otherwise it's pretty nice. I don't use sense as I preffer keeping it clean and simple. I never flashed a custom rom out of fear of instability. Now I'm not so worried, is there a 6.5.3 rom out there that's as stable as this official verizon release?

Has anyone gotten the burst and sports modes to work in camera? When I select them and then click to take the picture nothing happens then the screen goes black. I then cannot use the camera again until I power cycle.
