i know but without modifcations, the zoom bar is very slow... i mean it works but it usually takes me 2-3 swipes to zoom all the way in and out... is this normal???

yup sometimes it takes a few swipes

it's crap, i don't use it. i do like how in some custom ROMs, it's used to press soft keys or anyything else along the bottom of the screen... it's like pressing those areas of the screen without actually pressing them heh. keeps screen clean there at least.

ha, yes. when we say it's crap or junk, we mean it doesn't work how we would've liked. It's hit or miss and it doesn't even work that well when it does work... awkward is a good word for it.

Maybe we can improve upon the bar? If someone can change it scroll in every program then maybe we could make it do other things. Maybe launch one program when sliding to the left and another to the right. Maybe even use it to add an Alt-Tab kind of functionality to the phone.
