It is very responsive for me {zooms in opera, pie and album and scrolls in other apps ), i using my build 23517 rom from here

Some folks have modified it to work as a scroll function. I think I tried that, but now use the Rhodium Keyboard Controller to use the volume buttons to scroll in most programs

i know but without modifcations, the zoom bar is very slow... i mean it works but it usually takes me 2-3 swipes to zoom all the way in and out... is this normal???

it's crap, i don't use it. i do like how in some custom ROMs, it's used to press soft keys or anyything else along the bottom of the screen... it's like pressing those areas of the screen without actually pressing them heh. keeps screen clean there at least.
