Re: SD ROM Flash problems with 16 gb card
I have been having issues flashing a new rom too. I have an 8gig with about 4 gigs of free space. However, the phone will not read the NBH. I moved the same NBH to another 1 gig card and it flashed perfectly.
I reformatted the card and everything, still works perfectly, but will not flash for some reason. So now, i just use the 1 gig card to flash, then pop the 8 gig back in and resume regular use. |

Re: SD ROM Flash problems with 16 gb card
dadoc04, it's not really a BIG deal. But I just want it to work. What if there is that one moment when you are not at home and this ground-breaking rom comes out? I'd like to be able to download it from my phone and flash. LOL. I know there has to be a solution. I've had this happen a couple of times dating back to the Touch Pro I days. After a format to fat32 I could flash for awhile.
I'm using Windows Media player to sync, so the music is on the root. I suspect this may be the culprit: either using WMP to sync or just having too much data on the card. |

Re: SD ROM Flash problems with 16 gb card
I have a dedicated 2gb sd card for flashing. Stops any chance of any interference from other data on my main sd card.
