Re: Just noticed BestBuy.com is starting to sell the HTC TP2!!
Makes sense. I bet Best Buy gets extra bucks if they sell contracts.

Yes, Sprint is selling TP2's at their stores now...as long as they can keep them in stock...I can't wait to see how they are going to release the HD2...that phone won't stay in stores more than 10min...with all the hype.

Re: Just noticed BestBuy.com is starting to sell the HTC TP2!!
i got my TP2 for free about 3 weeks ago. It was a replacement after my 3rd Touch Pro.. Thanks local Sprint Service Center! Actually I havent paid for a new phone since my 6700.. Sprint always seems to have some loop hole for me to get a free upgrade.. And i havent started a new contract in nearly 4 years.

Re: Just noticed BestBuy.com is starting to sell the HTC TP2!!
Sprints official in-store launch for the TP2 was 11-16-09. And if anyone buys the phone for BB at that price they need to be smacked. Sprints full price is $600. Granted I didnt check the link, but if those are unlocked phones how could they work with Sprint/Verizon?

They are listed under "replacement Phones," so wouldn't that imply without contract, which would partially explain the exorbitant fee?

I was trying to figure out what that meant, until I decided that a category entitled "Replacement Phones" is incredibly stupid.

I thought Verizons version of TP2 had better hardware(BT or something), yet its less expensive

Re: Just noticed BestBuy.com is starting to sell the HTC TP2!!
I remember when I was shopping for the TP1 at Best Buy, the online price was similarly insane -- more than the non-subsidized cost from Sprint. But in store, if you were a new customer or qualified for an upgrade, the in-store price was the same as from Sprint. For a few weeks, it was even on sale for $100 less than Sprint, and they price matched it for me. Plus, it was an instant discount, so no waiting for your money, and no paying tax on the rebate amount. If BB is handling the TP2 similarly, it can actually be a better option than Sprint.
