Re: Just noticed BestBuy.com is starting to sell the HTC TP2!!
I blame it on the Geek Squad...Enuf said...Yeah those are unlocked no contract phones...but the MSRP of the TP2 is $600-650...they are smoking something.

Re: Just noticed BestBuy.com is starting to sell the HTC TP2!!
BestBuy has done this in the past... the Sprint TP was $749.00 when it came out last year. I believe they do it to detour customers from buying the phone outright without a contract because they lose money this way.... I'm not 100% though.

Makes sense. I bet Best Buy gets extra bucks if they sell contracts.

Yes, Sprint is selling TP2's at their stores now...as long as they can keep them in stock...I can't wait to see how they are going to release the HD2...that phone won't stay in stores more than 10min...with all the hype.

Re: Just noticed BestBuy.com is starting to sell the HTC TP2!!
Sprints official in-store launch for the TP2 was 11-16-09. And if anyone buys the phone for BB at that price they need to be smacked. Sprints full price is $600. Granted I didnt check the link, but if those are unlocked phones how could they work with Sprint/Verizon?

Re: Just noticed BestBuy.com is starting to sell the HTC TP2!!
They are listed under "replacement Phones," so wouldn't that imply without contract, which would partially explain the exorbitant fee?

I was trying to figure out what that meant, until I decided that a category entitled "Replacement Phones" is incredibly stupid.
