it will have multi tasking, just the way android uses it. the program will not completely shut down in the backround, it will just pause, and if its a program like pandora then it will minimize to a widget or in the backround. It will not be like iphone where the program completely closes. android doesn't allow custom interfaces, or at least i haven't figured out how. You should have no reason to install apps from anywhere else. Wouldn't you want every app available to you in one place? that is the problem with windows now, people install these apps that break the registry and everything gets f'd up. The fact that you think scouring the web for a certain app rather then just going to your marketplace is beyond me? Maybe you think that is whats best for microsoft but I don't, especially if it wants to make $ and win back marketshare as you posted earlier (which by the way discredited your statements not proved them).
