Cannot hear anything when i make/recieve a phone call?

Im having a huge issue, If i make or receive a phone call I cannot hear anything. The only time i can hear something is if i put the phone in speakerphone or plug in the headset. This has happened to me on three different roms ive tried, Mightyrom 6.5, Mightyrom Void and Freeze's barebones 6.1 rom. This seems like a hardware issue, any suggestions?

Do you have a custom taskbar installed?

I was absolutely plagued with this same problem until I quit using custom taskbars. They mess with your sound DLL & kill it somehow. I have not had one more instance of sound loss since uninstalling all taskbars.

Well i reflashed the roms from both my pc and sd and i didnt change anything and im still getting the same issue..........

damn i know somebody else has encountered this problem. so i went to the sprint store today.... i relocked and reflashed my phone. they were able to fix the problem. when i got home i unlocked the phone again and flashed to mightyrom void. i am having the same issues. again? something with the sound dll? any sugestions?

dj - Maybe it's the ROM's your using. You said you tried 3 different ROM's including a supposed Stock ROM. Try finding the Original TP2 Rom for your Verizon Phone and see if that fixes the issue. It all the ROM's I did on my Touch Pro there always seemed to be issues with them all...some stuff works great while other parts of it doesn't. Thats Just me, I've kept my my new TP2 stock from the Store and havn't had any problems with it.

Are you installing any audiopara mods? Happened to me when I installed one that didnt obviously work correctly

No, like i said Ive only flashed to Mightyrom Void and the 12/27 Mightyrom. No tweaks or anything.

Did you check in the communications setting to see if the phone radio was turned on?

I was having the same problem but without a custom rom. I did a hard reset and did not install any custom taskbars. its running fine now.

I was having a similar issue with my device even prior to going to a custom ROM and the issue was being caused by my using the audiopara cab.
