Cannot hear anything when i make/recieve a phone call?

I, too, encountered this after I installed Enable In Call Recording.cab shortly after I got the phone. First the person at the other end of my calls couldn't hear me, then I couldn't hear them. After that, all sound ceased to function, including system events and .mp3s. It stayed that way even after I uninstalled EICR. In my case, the only thing that fixed it was doing two hard resets.

It's been a couple months now with no more problems. I can't prove it was the software, but given there are quality alternatives for call recording out there, such as ACR (Auto Call Record), I'm going to avoid EICR henceforth.
