That's funny wizzard. I have heard that Sprint is delayed because they are releasing the 6.5 update with Sense 2.5. Whether or not that is going to happen, I don't know for sure as things can change, but I hope it's true, that would be awesome. But I have heard that from a couple different sources, which would mean HTC Messaging working for Sprint.

And a side note to the person who said yesterday that Sprint doesn't look at these threads, I would beg to differ on that, as I know for 100% that they do come to and read these forums.

Asked my local sprint rep again last week and was told it's coming soon.

So yeah, maybe in 3 months?

There will be a Windows 20 mobile before we see an official update from Sprint. Why run a stock rom when there are many custom roms to choose from?

The guy who made the first post on the link above is right on so many levels. This makes absolutely no sense! And what is really funny is how the hacking community fixes things months before sprint decides to even talk about it.

I look @ the delay as how will it help the general users vs. the "hacking" community.
As with most Windows OS, you can always improve on it.
But most general users (esp. Sprints') - either feel the phone has good or adequate performance or they move on because of poor performance.

So unless, the performance is in the magnitude of the iPhone bandwidth hogging & rattle the cages, SPCS does things on their own time & choosing.
Ppl here are not even on the radar.

As evidence by their attitude, just as long as some new subscriber conversion ratio is met by SPCS, they aren't going to address this. Subs are replaceable.

& they probably rather push you towards buying the next latest & greatest than support something that is going out of style like our TP2's.


ps- as a personal truth in disclosure - I am all for an update but I am relatively happy with a add ons tweaked - stock 6.1 OS & have no issues using the stylus & kb.
So while I am intrigued by some "visual" UI pics from the other 6.5+ ROMS, it's not enough without actual touch & feel to see the performance gains. Does this make me a general user?

When in anger, create a Facebook group to solve your problems because Sprint is really going to care about a social networking site's group lol.

I agree, but what sprint doesnt uderstand is that MOST business users aren't using this phone! They're using the black berry by sprint. More of the hardcore ppc users have the tp2. Its not rocket science! dont they have a committee that researches this... marketing maybe? just taking a shot in the dark...
