Bluetooth & USB Tethering Prob. (no internet cxn)?

How are you getting Bluetooth PAN to work? I can't seem to get them to connect. Anytime I try to connect to my laptop it says the laptop doesn't support that service (BT PAN) even though that same laptop was able to set up BT PAN from my old Mogul.
