SOLVED - 2.1 weather update frequency!!
Thanks to notaliberal over on XDA you can get the weather to update
automaticaly now! "Had been trying for some time to get the weather tab (and therefore the weather under the clock) to update more frequently than every 2 - 3 hours. I added the reg entry from a Sense 2.5 ROM, and can confirm that I've got it auto updating weather every half hour!!" http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...23#post5204623 So I made up some cabs! Such an easy fix... we need to be trying to do this with all the different 2.1/2.5 Packages and seeing how we can get them to work together.
