Fastest way to unlock replacement device?

I received a replacement device from Verizon today and was pshyced to get it unlocked and flash a new ROM, then HSPL told me that I had to pay to unlock another device, or contact the vendor if it's a replacement device.

I submitted a ticket and requested help at the HSPL site, but is there a faster way to get this done? I'm anxious to get my phone updated unlocked and because I'll be away from the computer all week.

They told me the same thing. I ended up paying just to get it done sooner. I did submit a ticket but i was in to much of a hurry.

I'm in the same boat. Its been over 24 hours, still no reply to unlock my new device

yeah...went through it three times. just pay the $5.10 or whatever it is.

Thats what I did. I DLed it from my other computer. I'm planning on paying for the SIM unlock, but I ain't paying to unlock any replacement phones.

I thought it checked your phone number, and that's why the cellular radio needed to be on when you run the unlocker?

I'll try one of my other computers, I've got 3 more!

wow! i didnt know u had 2 pay again. i got a replacement device and just ran the hspl and it unlocked with no problem

Did you pay the first time? That may be the difference here.. the first round is suppose to be free, and any replacement devices are free if you contact them.

I'm about to try my other computer, wish me luck!
