Power on when stylus removed

Is there a way on the tp2 to shut-off the power-on when stylus is removed? I have a BlackBerry leather pouch with a magnet in it & when I put my phone into the case, the magnet is strong enough to wake up the phone & it is unlocked. this is a bad thing. any help please. thanks

Actually it's not the stylus wakeup on out that does it. It's the keyboard awake on open that does that. So here's the registry entry to shut that off and your phone won't wake up with your magnetic case anymore.

HKLM\Hardware\DeviceMap\Keybd
"SlideWakeup"="0"

Thank you for your help. now that you say it is the keyboard slide, I realize that my screen is sideways, it all makes sense now! I'm not 100% sure how to modify a registry. but I'm not afraid to learn. I have PHM RegEdit, I've found the HKLM\Hardware\DeviceMap\Keybd. but slidewakeup is not there, do I have to add it in, how? thanks.

I use Memmaid not sure how your registry editor looks, but if you highlight KEYBD then look down below there should be all entries for it. Find slidewakeup>highlite it and press edit value>change value to 0>save and softreset after about a minute. That is how I do it with Memmaid.

Thanks, but I didn't have "SlideWakeup" under HKLM\Hardware\DeviceMap\Keybd.

I even did a full search for "SlideWakeup" and came up with nothing.

Is it possible that it could be called something else and/or in a different location?

BTW, I'm running the latest MightROM.

BTW, I'm running the latest MightROM.

From my understanding, if it isn't in there, then it's the same as having it disabled. Have you tested it to see if it works? If it still turns on then just add it in and set the dword to 0.

Yeah, it still unlocks it.

I've waved my phone over my case a few times and sure enough it unlocked on it's own.

I'll try adding that string to the registry.

There must be a different setting for it for verizon then there is for sprint. Have you tried GoodThings2Life's tweak cab for verizon? It will make that setting and many others. He has seperate ones for different carriers.
