None of us have our PC in front of us 24/7. If we did, we wouldn't be buying Touch Pro 2 Pocket PC's.

My comment about the attachment limit on PC's was directed at the people saying this was a server issue and there was no way to change it. If we could somehow make the server think we were on a PC it would solve the problem. So what do we have to change on our phones to make it report to the server that it is a laptop instead of a phone

Or it could be entirely a client side issue. Maybe the attachment limit is written into the Windows Live client and the error is entirely client generated...

Re: Hotmail attachment size

What is up - have we entered the era of deliberately crippling technology that, sans such hobbling would work as well or better than our PCs in doing what we need them to do? We have our carriers deliberately halving our TP2 memory, disabling FM radios, tap-hold and copy-paste in some phones, disabling GPS in others. Why?

Okay, I'm done ranting. And yes, I feel much better.

While I oppose so-called "net neutrality" because I don't want the government involved in the internet content business, I like your cause and have checked it out. We need to force these clowns to obey. To do that, I like the union model rather than the government-intervention model. If we created a solid consumer's union and acted en masse, it could really hit these providers in the pocket book.

Re: Hotmail attachment size

What if you opened Hotmail in something like Opera or SkyFire? I have done that before and then you can download your message that way. Only if you open Hotmail in IE will it redirect you to messages and such.
