Re: Am I the only one having problems with Mighty Rom on the TP2?

i know what the OP is saying about slowdown in manila, i havent used mightyrom but i would recommend the newest nrg roms, not really any bugs and stock its extremely fast in manila, and the new 21885 build is pretty good, a lot faster especially in the menus, i would say give it a shot

Anyhow, as you said, no offense, but you have to be smarter than the phone you use. I dont consider the iPhone to be a true pda phone but more of a smartphone. The iphone has several limitations that I can easily conquer with the WM phone. No phone is perfect and searching for one that is perfect is an excersize in futility.

In my opinion, the Touch Pro 2 is about as close to perfect as I have seen.
no offense takin...it just seems like when compared to a friends 3gs there is no lag on any application when you open it. im not a person that can go into registrys and change things around for myself and it seems likme whatever i want to do on my phone certain things i cant...but the iphone seems to always have an app for that lol. dont know how else to put it.

Re: Am I the only one having problems with Mighty Rom on the TP2?

MightyMike's rom is good, but I didn't stick with it. It had too many little issues with it to make it worth it for me tp keep. I have used his, Juicy's, Energy, and a few others, but IMHO Yay 4 Juggs is the most stable, the fastest and had the best battery life. I am running his Beta 3 version now and it kicks serious booty.

I wish I could tell you where to download it...

Re: Am I the only one having problems with Mighty Rom on the TP2?

mighty rom is lightning fast compared to stock for me, better functionality, better battery life, and quite stable. In fact, i was very surprised at how efficient it is, because mike hasnt had all that long to work on this platform. Kudos mike.

Just a thought, you mentioned you had nuepowercpl loaded. I have always had problems with it on 6.5 roms, and as a result, i dont use it anymore. I would try loading the rom and nothing else, using it for a day, and seeing how it does, THEN start loading programs one at a time until you determine the source of your slowdown.

the iphone is a very locked down os, meaning functionality is limited by what you can get from the app store. Even with a jailbroken iphone, there is alot of limitation. The tp2 is a tweakers phone. It is not as snappy as the iphone, and WM is part of the problem. WM was designed for functionality, not look and feel. It does what is needed, does it well, and is almost infinitely customizeable and tweakable. This topic has been beaten like a dead horse.
